PREFACE.
IN bringing this little Guide to Ledbury before the public,
the Author believes that he is supplying a want which
has long been felt. He is much indebted for his information
to several books in the Library of the Ledbury Reading
Room; to “Notes on Ledbury” by Mr F. Parr, published
in the Hereford Times in 1884; to papers in the “Transactions
of the Woolhope Club”; to Messrs. Jakeman and Carver's
“Directory of Herefordshire”, and to Kelly's “Directories of
Worcestershire and Gloucestershire”.
